As your insurance consultant we will do the following for you:

  • We will discuss the type of services your firm provides and the insurance coverage and limits contractually required by your clients.
  • We will do an overall review of your current insurance policies and limits.
  • We will confirm your carrier ratings to make sure they meet your clients minimum rating requirement.
  • We will review and discuss with you your current exposures and how they’re classified on your General Liability, Automobile, Workers Compensation and Property policies.
  • We will review and discuss the job descriptions and duties performed by of each of your employees and determine if they’re classified in the correct class code for the work being performed.
  • We will confirm that the correct class codes, rates and experience modification and or expense constant are being used to conduct your Workers Compensation annual audits.

We will review the insurance certificates received from all Subcontractors to confirm if:

  • Their certificate shows the insurance coverages required per your contract.
  • The insurance carrier rating meets the minimum rating as outlined in your contract.
  • Each project, project location and contract number is listed in the description box of the certificate.
  • Your firm has been added as additional insured on the General Liability policy, this wording must be stated on each certificate received for each project.
  • A waiver of subrogation in favor of the certificate holder on the General Liability policy must be stated on each certificate received for each project.
  • A waiver of subrogation in favor of the certificate holder on the Workers Compensation policy must be stated on each certificate received for each project.
  • We will review your list of property and equipment to confirm that the total limit of these items are covered under your property or inland marine policies.
